Quick & Easy Pumpkin Dip

Pumpkin dip in orange pumpkin dish with crackers

This quick and easy pumpkin dip is the perfect Halloween treat, for both the kiddos and the grown ups of in your life.

Speaking of Halloween . . . are you ready? I feel like this holiday kind of snuck up on me. I mean I decorated the house (for the first time in years), but that was weeks ago. With my kids being older now, putting together costumes is something they pretty much do on their own. They only need my credit card for a slew of random Amazon purposes. Now that I am no longer in the classroom I don’t have the little kid excitement or the need for a costume of my own. And my dogs are great fun, but they really aren’t into costumes.

Tbh, Halloween is making a little bit sad this year. It’s a good thing I have this pumpkin dip.

Why You’ll Love It:

Aaaah, pumpkin dip. So easy. So quick. So delicious.

I share a lot of “easy” recipes with you. And I am well aware that one person’s easy is another person’s nightmare. I cook a lot. I run a recipe blog. I enjoy cooking. So I know I might not always have the best read on “easy”.

But friends, this recipe is easy. All you need are seven ingredients that you can find in any grocery store. (At least I hope you can. I hope the pumpkin puree shortage is over.) And one bowl.

The toughest thing about this recipe is softening the cream cheese. And that’s not hard. It’s just something you have to remember to do ahead of time. (Or, want to know a secret, you can unwrap the cream cheese and place it in a microwave safe bowl and pop it into the microwave for about twenty second. No longer than that or it will melt and run all over). But you really do want to make sure the cream cheese is soft so it whips up nicely for a perfectly fluffy and well-blended pumpkin dip.

Then you just add everything to a bowl, using a hand mixer, and mix until creamy.

I told you it was easy. It takes five minutes.

And it is soooo good. Pumpkin dip brings you all the wonderful flavor of pumpkin pie, without ant of the work.

And it is fun. Just check out all the interesting serving options below. You are going to love this!

How to Make Pumpkin Dip:

I almost feel like I could leave out this part of the blog post today. Pumpkin dip is that simple.

Simply combine the softened cream cheese, brown sugar, confectioners sugar, pumpkin puree, vanilla, pumpkin pie spice, and cinnamon in a medium bowl and beat well with a hand mixer. It only takes a couple of minutes to whip up this quick and easy pumpkin dip.

Don’t have pumpkin pie spice? No worries. You can double up on the cinnamon. Add a half teaspoon on nutmeg, cloves, or all-spice if you have it. If not, don’t worry about it.

Serve right away. Or store covered in the refrigerator for up to a week.

Dipping a scabby snack into pumpkin dip

Enjoy!

This pumpkin dip is the perfect pst trick-or-treat snack. I love it with Scooby snacks (just bone-shaped cinnamon graham crackers) and kids do too! They thing it’s so much fun to eat the little bones.

It’s also A-MA-ZING with apples (if you can eat raw apples). But because I am allergic I often eat it with grape. And sometime even strawberries. And cinnamon pita chips are another great dipper.

If you want to go all out, try this pumpkin dip with marshmallows, pretzels, or even dark chocolate.

Or, there’s absolutely no shame in eating it with a spoon.

I also love to preparation pumpkin dip in little containers and send it to school in lunchboxes. How fun is that!

Oh, and don’t think this pumpkin dip is only for Halloween. We enjoy it all fall and it makes a lovely addition to your Thanksgiving celebration too!

Happy Eating!
